Building Insulation Solutions with Rigid Foam

Airfoam's Rigid Insulation is a family of innovative and budget-friendly solutions for wall, roof and below-grade applications. With the highest R-values per dollar and outstanding insulation performance, EPS products resist moisture and many adverse conditions over very long service periods.

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) is a high-performance, versatile, closed cell, rigid foam insulation material that uses air as main ingredient - not greenhouse gases. Adding continuous insulation (c.i.) offers higher effective insulation values than adding similar amounts of cavity-insulation and it can all but eliminate the risk of condensation, rot and mold with proper detailing & installation.

For framed walls, concrete/CMU walls, cold-storage walls, tilt-up walls, and more:

Korolite® Insulation Boards with various compressive strengths and R-Values are ideal for exterior continuous insulation that allows drying to the exterior
Korolite® Insulated Metal Panels for cold-storage, refrigerated, warehouse, manufacturing and other larger buildings: one-step insulation + finishes + WRB + air barrier + vapor barrier
Airboard® AERO Breathable Insulation is laminated with perforated reflective facers for continuous insulation + WRB
Airboard® Insulation + Vapor Barrier is laminated with reflective facers as additional barrier to moisture and radiant heatflow
Quad-Lock® Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) for the ultimate in durability, resilience & comfort: combined insulation + concrete formwork + WRB + air barrier + furring steps
FoamShield® Perfect Wall Assemblies use 100% exterior continuous insulation on framed walls
Sloped Insulation on Quad-Deck insulated concrete roof

* The test methods used to determine the above material properties provide a means of comparing different rigid, cellular polystyrene products. They are intended for use in specifications, product evaluations and quality control but they are not intended to predict end-use product performance.   ** The elastic limit/yield point is between 1% and 2% strain. Compressive resistances at 5% and 10% strain are provided for applications where the intended end-use can tolerate plastic (permanent) deformation under load; to limit it along with creep, use the 1% strain values for design.   ^ Abbreviations: ICF = Insulating Concrete Forms, Geofoam includes engineered Flotation applications
